Unknown Gunmen Kill 11 In Southern Kaduna Attack

Unknown gunmen suspected to be bandits attacked Apiye Jim village, in Atyap Chiefdom, Zangon Kataf Local Government Area of Kaduna state and killed 11 persons.

According to a source in the village, the gunmen invaded the area while it was raining and divided themselves into groups and targeted houses.

The source also said several people are missing as a result of the attack and that it is difficult to verify the number of those injured and those killed, but so far, 11 dead bodies in different locations have been counted this morning.

The source also told Newsmen that the attackers executed their operations in about 10 minutes and left while it was raining heavily in the evening.

He called on the Federal and Kaduna State governments to act swiftly and protect the people from total elimination in the hands of unknown gunmen.
