Panic In UNN As Gunmen Abduct Dean, Others

Professor Oguejiofo Ujam, a renowned academic at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN), was abducted on Sunday while traveling along the Ugwuogo-Nike-Opi-Nsukka Road.

The professor, who serves as the Dean of the School of General Studies and a lecturer in the Department of Pure and Industrial Chemistry, was reportedly kidnapped alongside other travelers on this notorious route.

The recent spate of kidnappings along the Ugwuogo-Opi-Nsukka Road has raised significant concerns about the deteriorating security situation in the region.
