There was confusion on Tuesday over the alleged suspension of Rochas Okorocha, Imo West Senator and a former Governor of the State.
It was widely reported that the National body of the All Progressives Congress, APC, suspended Okorocha over anti-party activities.
The national working committee (NWC) of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has disowned the letter announcing the suspension of Rochas Okorocha.
The said letter had alleged that the former Imo State governor was suspended after a meeting of the party’s National Working Committee (NWC).
But the National Secretary of the party’s Caretaker/Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee (CECPC), Senator John Akpanudoedehe, who is purportedly a signatory to the said letter, disclosed to LEADERSHIP via an SMS that the suspension letter is fake and did not emanate from the party leadership.
