Family Confirms Femi Fani-Kayode’s Separation From Wife
Ekohotblog, September 18, 2020
Okey Onyemachi, uncle to Femi Fani-Kayode’s wife has confirmed the couple’s separation, clears air on allegation leading to their breakup..
The news was first shared by the popular investigative journalist, Kemi Olunloyo, who took to her social media page to share reasons surrounding the breakup.
According to Kemi, Precious Chikwedu has been suffering from a mental illness as she has been diagnosed with Bipolar, Depression, and Schizophrenia, which is a contributing factor to the breakup.

Contrary to Kemi’s claim, another journalist, Stella Dimoko, alleged that Precious Chikwedu separated from her husband, FFK, over issues bordering on domestic violence.
The beauty queen, Chikwendu’s uncle, Okey Onyemachi in an interview with Premium Times debunk the rumour of domestic violence.
He however confirmed that his niece suffered from a health challenge; noted that he is aware that FFK and wife are separated.
Okey Onyemachi said, “I am aware that they are separated and are not staying together as we speak,”
The couple has been married since 2014, have four sons, including a set of two-year-old triplets.
Speaking on allegation surrounding the paternity of FFK’s children, Onyemachi said the allegations are lies.
“I never witnessed any domestic violence incident but I am aware that they are separated and are not staying together as we speak, but reports of domestic violence are very funny and malicious,” he said.
“I am unhappy about the reports and my major concern is the children and why people are cooking up fake stories. The allegations that the kids aren’t chief’s is a big lie and unthinkable. Precious is my niece and I can confirm that all these stories are false.” Onyemachi said.
However, Fani-Kayode has filed a pre-litigation letter to the blogger, Stella Dimokorkus, who reported the allegation.
In a letter signed by his lawyer, Mr. Adeola Adedipe, dated September 16, 2020, the former minister described the report as preposterous.
The letter titled, ‘Defamation of Chief Femi Fani-Kayode- Re: Femi Fani-Kayode and Precious Chikwendu Part Ways Over Alleged Domestic Violence’, stated that the allegations were spurious and maliciously engineered.
