Following the viral tweet on a Nigerian based Chinese company, Inner Galaxy group, the Abia State Government has sent a team of investigators to the facility.
The whistleblower confirmed the update on Twitter on Thursday evening.
He wrote, ”I can authoritatively confirm to Nigerians, that following my tweet that exposed the Chinese slavery camp, at Inner Galaxy group on the 12 of August 2020. A team of investigators from the government visited the facility today—@fisayosoyombo, segalink, @hartng.

Our correspondent recalled that the Twitter user said the company, which is located at Umuahala, Obuzor Asa, in Ukwa West LGA of Abia State, is managed by Chinese while most of their workers are Nigerians.
According to the whistleblower, the Nigerian workers were made to work as slaves and under the most dehumanizing conditions ever known to humanity.
He added that Soldiers tortured any staff who failed to work under unfavorable conditions.
