[UPDATED] APC Crisis: Oshiomhole’s Ward Excos Reverses Suspension
Executives of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in ward 10 Estako West local government area of Edo have lifted the suspension order on Comrade Adams Oshiomhole.
The Secretary of the ward, Emuakemeh Sule, who, disclosed the development at a press conference, said that 17 members out of 26 signed the resolution.
You recalled that the governor of former Edo state was suspended last November following a Rift with the current governor of Edo state, Godwin Obaseki, over political control of the state.
Pledging support, the APC Chairman in Etsako West, Mrs Rabiat Ezolomhe On Friday, declared that she and her members can not back out from APC.
She said, ”I and members can’t run away from the house we labored for since 2018, our tenure is not over yet, these are my members right here with me.”
The suspension of Oshiomhole by the ward was the genesis of his ordeal which led to him being suspended as the party’s national chairman, and the ensuing development is a leadership crisis occassioned by flurry of conflicting Court orders. More to come..
