Oputa, who had been hopeful about finding someone special, was left disappointed when a potential match’s biography described him as an “Agent of Chaos.”
EKO HOT BLOG notes that she initially felt optimistic as she swiped through profiles, attracted by the man’s good looks and seemingly compatible interests. However, his bio raised immediate concerns, suggesting he enjoyed causing trouble.
Expressing her frustration, Oputa joked that “Netflix and chill” might be a more appealing option than dealing with the dating app scene.
She shared her thoughts on her Instagram story: “So, I decided to give this dating app thing a try. I mean, I’m an adult. Celebrity or not, I deserve to find love too, abeg. So, I’m swiping, minding my business, and I match with this fine guy.
“Cute face, nice smile. I thought, ‘Okay o, we’re getting somewhere!’ I check his profile quickly. Pictures? On point. I’m nodding my head, ‘Yes o, this looks promising.’ Everything was going well: long-term relationship, loves travel, good food. I was already daydreaming. Then boom—I see: ‘Agent of Chaos.’ Ehn?! What did you say? You’re looking for long-term love but calling yourself an Agent of Chaos? How am I supposed to enter a relationship with a certified troublemaker?
“Honestly, some of these men don’t do themselves any favors. I’m tired of this dating app life. Maybe Netflix and chill isn’t so bad after all.”
