US: All The Details Of Gwyneth Paltrow’s Trial

Eko Hot Blog reports that Gwyneth Paltrow is accused of causing a collision that left retired eye doctor Terry Sanderson, 76, concussed.

Sanderson alleges that Paltrow crashed into him, causing him lasting injuries and brain damage.

He is seeking $300,000 (£244,000) in damages, having dropped a previous claim for $3.1m. Paltrow has countersued and is seeking $1 plus legal fees.

A doctor who gave evidence in court this week has said Sanderson had sustained a traumatic brain injury that “completely changed his life”.

The court heard earlier this week that Gwyneth Paltrow was false “distracted when she crashed into Sanderson, inflicting brain damage and breaking his ribs.

Steve Owens, Paltrow’s lawyer, has rejected these claims.
