US: ‘They Are Trying To Steal The Election’ – Trump Cries Out

The United States presidential election gets into full gear and major candidates are deploying different antics to keep their hopes alive.

In what appears to be yet another attempt by president Donald Trump to undermine the integrity of the election, he has accused the Joe Biden campaign of trying to steal the election.

In a tweet on  averred Wednesday morning, Trump averred that voting cannot continue after polls have closed.

He said “We are up big, but they are trying to steal the election. We will never let them do it. Vote cannot be cast after the polls are closed”

This is not the first time Trump is making remarks that undermine the transparency and credibility of the election. In October he had said he would not commit to peaceful transmission of power if  he losses the election.

However, the race is becoming a close one after 34 Texas electoral votes went to Trump reducing the 48 lead opened up by Biden to 10. As the time of filling this report, Biden has 219 electoral votes while Trump has 209.

To emerge president, candidate needs to secure at least 270 of electoral votes.
