Job Title: Brand Communications Officer
Location: Lagos
Job Description
- Manages the administration of the company’s website ensuring correctness and brand consistency of information thereon
- Responsible for creating internal and external brand strategies that will position the Alpha Mead brand as the Biggest & Best Total Real Estate company in Africa.
- Write, edit, and distribute content, including publications, press releases, website content, annual reports, speeches, and other marketing material that communicates the organization’s activities, products and/or services.
- Generates and develops ideas for effective brand placement and enhancement of brand values
- Translate company business objectives into creative and executable corporate communications strategies and programmes
- Work with Marketing Communications Manager in the production of company branded collaterals and corporate gift items, including identification and negotiation with relevant vendors and suppliers, stakeholders and business partners such as director, key clients, and industry colleagues
- Develop and implement marketing strategies and programs to promote the branding as well as products and services of the company.
- Maintain a rigorous and consistent approach to branding, messaging, content, quality and general look and feel throughout all communications and external messaging
- Seek new methods and creative strategies to increase internal and external awareness of key events and changes in the organisation including the launch of new products, special events, local and global community service, and other topics of interest.
- Effectively monitor the implementation of the brand, communication and CSR policy of the organisation.
- Manage relationship, through communication, with Alpha Mead stakeholders such as Employees, Media, Board, Regulators, etc.
Qualifications
- B.Sc. Degree in Mass Communication, Marketing, Public Relations or any relevant field
- 2-4 years’ relevant experience in a communications role
- Excellent communications (both verbal and written) and presentation skills.
- Demonstrate exceptional strategic thinking and planning abilities.
- Knowledge of SEO optimisation and Google Analytics
- Working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects, Adobe Premiere Pro and other video editing software will be a huge plus
- Experience in copywriting and editing
