We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Accountant

Job Role

A Junior Accountant needed, the successful candidate will be reporting the Chief Finance Officer for the accounts department.

Job Description

Develop an understanding of branch financial operations through regular interaction to be able to reconcile the financial performance and identify anomalies.
Review online bank statements daily, perform bank reconciliations, liaise with customers and vendors to confirm details of payments/cash received against backup documentation.
Record and report any anomalies, unexplained transactions to the branch head.
Monthly review of trial balance from both retail and whole files.
Confirm balances and movements, review accruals/provision accounts every month with the branches.
Ensure authorizations are completed on all transactions.
A detailed review of individual branches’ ledger balances to identify inventory purchase and settle payment as at when due.
