Job Title: Accountant

Job Description
- Monitor the day-to-day financial operations within the company (payroll, invoicing, and other transactions).
- Monitoring of all vendors invoices.
- Update accounts receivable and issue invoices.
- Update accounts payable and perform reconciliations.
- Assist in the processing of balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines.
- Assist with reviewing of expenses, payroll records etc. as assigned.
- Update financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when needed.
- Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports.
- Offer support and guidance during audits.
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements (LIRS, FIRS).
Requirements
- B.Sc or HND in Accounting.
- Minimum of 2 years experience as accountant.
- Knowledge of e-commerce accounting will be an advantage.
- Must be able to handle stock and inventory management
- Must be able to do bank account reconciliations.
- Must be very smart and hardworking.
- Must have knowledge in using the accounting software.
- Must be proficient in using Excel
