Details

• With a new and progressive vision for 2020, our client is looking at hiring Business Development Manager to identify business growth opportunities and develop strategies to increase company sales.

Responsibilities

• Gaining new business through brokers by identifying and exploiting opportunities in the local market.
• Working with underwriters to amend policies where necessary in order to meet client demand.
• Maintaining detailed knowledge of new and existing products by liaising with colleagues;
• Ensuring credibility with clients by maintaining detailed knowledge of current market conditions and competitors’ products.
• Monitoring and reporting on performance against agreed sales targets, sometimes including monitoring the performance of other sales staff.
• Increasing profitability of existing product lines by encouraging clients to use added value services wherever possible.
• Consulting and promoting the most effective cover for a particular need, taking a number of factors into account.
• Build strong business relationships with our existing clients and intermediaries
• Segmenting a rapport with brokers and administrators who have provident schemes by targeting the members with an annuity solution.
• 100% compliance to Internal control procedures

Minimum Requirements

• B.Sc / HND in Business Administration or any related field
• ACII/ Professional Qualification will be an added advantage
• 2-4 years relevant sales experience of the Insurance broking industry
• Demonstrated success in a similar role within the Insurance industry.
• Proven success in an international business development (hunter) role.

Key Skills:

• Detailed knowledge of B2B discipline
• Outgoing client manager professional
• Solid B2B Marketing
• Third party distribution channel management.
• Knowledge of the Insurance industry (desirable)

Salary
N60,000 – N100000 monthly.
