We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Brand Manager – Fresh Prep

Location: Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Role Summary

  • As the brand manager for fresh prep, you need to be a lover of Nigerian and intercontinental foods, you will be required to take the time to understand what the business vision is, build a strategic plan to plot the best path forward through market analysis and tactical execution to achieve the plan.

Role Accountabilities and Responsibilities

  • Ensure all brand activities are in line with the brand key vision, developing a category strategy to engage all functional departments, and optimize processes to achieve clear brand objectives.
  • Work cross-functionally with sales, production, and digital marketing teams as well as with agency partners to execute key brand marketing initiatives.
  • Create and manage promotional campaigns to grow brand awareness, establish and maintain product branding and recognition.
  • Responsible for the execution of specific marketing activities such as; brand promotion, content creation, partnerships, activations, direct marketing, PR programs, etc.
  • Develop an in-depth understanding and become an expert in all the product categories to position the brand to compete favourably in the market.
  • Research competitors and trends, and use this information to feed into product roadmap provide ongoing support for both growth and customer marketing for the adoption and success of products.
  • Understand what it takes to bring a product to market and enjoy the process of conducting research and digging into the data to validate product solutions in the marketplace.
  • Own tasks from start to finish and take the initiative to make continuous process improvements and observe strict deadlines and hold yourself accountable for your deliverables.
  • Conduct data collection, analysis, and report to management to deliver insights for decision-making

Requirements

  • Minimum of second-class Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related study.
  • Postgraduate qualification would be an added advantage
  • 3 – 5 years cognate experience in marketing or branding in the food industry.
  • Familiarity with food production, project management marketing research tools/techniques, and brand management experience.
  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills to allow you to get results across easily and quickly, in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Strong data analytical skills and data-driven thinking, expressed through proficiency in google office applications

Salary
NGN130,000 – 170,000 / Month.

Job Title: Head Chef

Location: Lekki,  Lagos

Overview

  • As the Head Chef you are in charge of the daily operational activities of the kitchen ranging from staffing, co-ordination, production, researching new & competitive menus and also drive the goals of the business in becoming one of the best food business gloabaly.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Produce diversified menus in accordance with the restaurant’s policy and vision.
  • Come up with new dishes which appeal to the clients, whenever required.
  • Establish the working schedule and organize the work in the kitchen so that everything works like a “well-oiled machinery”.
  • Produce high-quality dishes that follow up the established menu and level up to location’s standards, as well as to clients’ requirements.
  • Plan the food design in order to create a perfect match between the dish’s aspect and its taste.
  • Discover talented chefs and train them in order to reach the high standards of the location.
  • Train the auxiliary kitchen staff in order to provide best results in minimum time and using at the maximum the available resources.
  • Maintain order and discipline in the kitchen during working hours.
  • Create tasting menus for clients interested in contracting the food for different events (wedding, banquets, corporate dinners, birthday parties, etc.) from their kitchen.
  • Developing a cross-marketing strategy in order to increase profit, such as pairing drinks with the food serve

Skills, Experience and Qualifications Required

  • Culinary degree as a decorated sous chef.
  • 4 years of experience as a Head Chef
  • Proficient in English
  • Understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
  • Excellent record of kitchen and staff management
  • Accuracy and speed in handling emergency situations and providing solutions
  • Familiar with industry’s best practices
  • Working knowledge of various computer software programs (MS Office, restaurant management software, POS)
  • A degree or diploma in Culinary science or related certificate would be a plus

Job Title: Cashier

Location: Lekki, Lagos,
Employment Type: Full Time

Overview

  • As a cashier at Eros & Co, you are to assist customers in the in-store check-out process, requesting price checks, honouring coupons, collecting payment and giving appropriate change.
  • Responsible for counting the contents of cash register drawer at the end of each shift, maintaining receipts, records and withdrawals.

Responsibilities

  • Accurate bookkeeping
  • Handle cash, credit or check transactions with customers.
  • Receive payments for items bought via transfer or P.O.S
  • Ensure pricing is correct.
  • Issue change, receipts, refunds, or tickets.
  • Count money in cash drawers at the beginning and end of shifts to ensure that amounts are correct and that there is adequate change.
  • Make sales referrals, cross-sell products and introduce new ones.
  • Resolve customer complaints, guide them and provide relevant information.
  • Daily petty cash update & reconciliation.
  • Greet customers when entering or leaving establishment.
  • Maintain clean and tidy checkout areas.
  • Keep reports of transactions.
  • Process returns and check to see if items are damaged.
  • Answer customers’ questions and get a manager if answer doesn’t solve the issue.
  • Reconcile daily sales report/record.
  • Pleasantly deal with customers to ensure satisfaction.

Job Title: Brand Manager – Cookie Jar

Role Summary

 

  • We are seeking to hire a manager that is well vastin the Pastry industry and a lover of all things confectioneries. Someone who is passionate about the craft and possess managerial skills to be able to follow through new product developments and position the brand into certain regions and markets of the culinary populace.
  • His or Her duties would be to assist the Group Brands Manager to provide daily analysis and tactical execution of the brand duties, to handle and follow up with social media activities, create campaigns, reach out to other brands to partner and improve the general profitability of the brand.
  • Candidate will be responsible for the general welfare of the brand. This role will work cross-functionally with sales, supply chain, R&D, Develop in-depth understanding and become an expert in the categories you are developing – the business environment in which our brands compete, to include product category segments, channels, etc., Work with the managers to support the briefing process to external creative design agencies and execute against milestones during product development, Collaborate with cross-functional teams to help support business/operational activities, Accountable for the execution of specific marketing activities (e.g. consumer and trade promotion activities, sampling, PR programs, displays, direct marketing, etc.) and digital marketing teams as well as with agency partners to execute against key brand marketing initiatives.

Education and Experience

  • BSc required; Culinary degree in pastries strongly preferred.
  • 1+ years in the Food Industry (Pastry), Marketing Firm, Consultancy Firm or internship with a related company.
  • Category: Pastry Industry, Consultancy FIrms, Culinary Sphere.
  • Familiarity with common consumer marketing/food (Pastry) research tools and techniques

Salary
N130,000 – N170,000 / month.
