Job Title: Sourcing Business Partner

Location: Lagos, Nigeria

Our Exciting Opportunity

  • We are now looking for a Sourcing Business Partner. Your role will make Ericsson and our Customers successful by actively contributing towards securing short and long-term profitable business.
  • Through your early engagement in Partner organizations, you will drive higher value contribution from third-party deliveries to a business. To drive value, relevant category strategies and preferred supplier lists shall be endorsed through active participation in strategic Sales and product/project forums, including business and product decision meetings.
  • The Sourcing Partner shall promote new business ideas that are based on optimized value extraction through collaboration from third parties and Ericsson supplier base, other business benchmarking, and Sourcing strategies.
  • You will also be accountable for the Sourcing contribution of business opportunity or concept to delivering on Partner expectations.

You Will

  • Conspire and commit to Partnering with the business.
  • Drive and manage the 3rd party demand and internal stakeholders.
  • An advisor and dedicated to partner engagement.
  • Responsible for risk management for 3rd party.
  • Inspire business ideas, strategies & preferred supplier list.
  • Hold sourcing responsible for the profitability.
  • Optimize Sourcing performance targets.
  • And you will back & support M&A sourcing projects.

Requirements

To be successful in the role you must have:

  • Education: A first Academic Degree or equivalent qualification in Procurement and Supply Chain Management (An MBA is a plus)
  • MCIPS certification would be a plus.
  • Minimum of 3 years of sourcing experience and/or extensive experience negotiating telecom projects with subcontractors.
  • Demonstrated ability in procurement & sourcing function.
  • Sourcing Practice, Process & Strategy Knowledge.
  • Business Understanding and Business Modelling Skills.
  • Writing documentation and presentation
  • Change & Improvement Management Skills.
  • Commercial Acumen & Skills.
  • Deciding & Initiating Action.

Additional Requirements:

  • Sourcing or Sales Background.
  • Having IT or Telecommunication Experience.
  • Certification in Contract Management or Sourcing will be an advantage.

Job Title: MFS Business Analyst

Location: Lagos, Lagos, Nigeria

About this Opportunity!

  • Mobile Money Business Analyst role is accountable for design and ownership of Mobile Money common core solution in Nigeria.
  • This role will support to design solutions and take a role of solution architect in delivery projects! You will engage Ericsson Business Area counterpart to ensure solution is aligned with Ericsson Wallet Platform product best practices and roadmap!

What You Will Do

  • Work closely with customer to build a solution based on the received demands and requirements documentation
  • Organize Requirement capturing workshop to ensure all business requirements are gathered as input towards Quick study execution by respective R&D organizations.
  • Support Account Manager and Deployment manager in communication of quarterly deployment plan
  • Communicate regularly Ericsson Converged Wallet platform roadmap for OPCO specific use cases.
  • Support HUB MFS Manager to build OPCO Deployment Plan.
  • Builds HLD/LLD and ensures sign off from MTN respective stakeholder as part of Demand Technical Governance.
  • Educate OPCOs counterpart on MTN MoMo Platform Service catalog and available and planned use cases.
  • Regular gap analysis of use cases and capabilities based on Service catalog versus what is being used to identify growth opportunities and that are not generating revenue or usage is showing constant decline trend.
  • Ensure proper routing of demand requests through demand management process, enablement request process or Service Request (MS).
  • Responsible for value and technical outcome of the demands.
  • Support Head of Mobile Money technology.

Requirements

You will bring:

  • Minimum Experience in Fintech/Mobile Money and EWP 5+ years
  • Experience in Mobile Money Solution Architecture and design of use cases 4+ years
  • Previous BSS or adjacent areas’ experience required
  • Leadership skills with focus on team performance.
  • Result oriented with customer first demeanor.
  • Can handle stressful and ambiguous situations
  • Superb communication skills in written and spoken English
  • Self-motivated with strong drive and initiative, collaborative, relating and networking
  • Track record as a leader and the ability to work independently preferably with a well-established contact network
  • Outgoing personality that finds it easy to cooperate and establish relationships across organizational boundaries and in a global environment
