Owens and Xley is in need of a Full-time Graphics Designer
Owens and Xley is a Small Business Advisory and Consulting Company in Lagos, Nigeria. Our services include of Small Business Startup and Set up, Business Plan preparation, Business Process Design and Business Strategy Formulation.
We know the role good planning plays in any business and its associated costs; and the initial capital challenges faced by a small business which is why we have developed solutions that ensure that small business owners have access to technical skills but at a fraction of the cost.
We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Graphics Designer
Location: Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Job Summary
o We are currently looking to hire a qualified, competent and experienced Graphics designer for our client.
o The ideal candidate will be required to produce and bring to life the company’s requirements and messages through high visual impact images and design projects.
o She/he must be highly creative and will also need to use software packages related to
multimedia and industry-standard graphics.
Responsibilities
o Taking design briefs to understand requirements
o Conceptualizing and developing design concepts, graphics and layouts
o Designing and producing collateral in accordance with brand guidelines
o Presenting ideas, concepts and design solutions to various stakeholders and incorporating
their feedback into the final design
o Liaising with suppliers and service providers to ensure proofs are of good quality and in line with production specifications
Requirements
o A Degree in Computer Science or any related field
o Relevant experience as a Graphics Designer
o Must be flexible and creative
o Must have high attention to detail.
o Must be able to work alone or with a team.
o Must have good multitasking skills.
o Strong knowledge of XD, Figma, Canva or Sketch
o Strong Illustrator and Photoshop skills
o A portfolio of existing designs and illustrations
o The ability to work methodically when working with others
o A love for typography and colour
o The ability to create a clear, distinguished brand identity
o Comfortable with Adobe Suite
o Having time management skills.
o Being able to work to strict deadlines.
Salary
o N60,000 monthly.
