Job Brief
- We are looking for a Hotel Accountant. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate accounting records, supporting operations, and assisting with budgeting and forecasting.
- The responsibilities also include reviewing daily cash balance, facilitating the annual budgeting process and conducting in-depth analyses for financial projection and forecasting,
Job Responsibilities
- Preparing accurate month-end account with comparison to forecast.
- Preparing profit and loss account and the balance sheet for senior management.
- Process cash disbursement and cash receipts.
- Perform month-end close reconciliation and financial analysis.
- Assist with preparing budget and forecasts.
- Review daily cash balance and maintain cash flow projections.
- Prepare a monthly bank reconciliation for all account.
- Review vendor invoices and monthly statements to ensure all expenses are processed.
- Work with vendors promptly.
Requirements
- HND or B.Sc as a minimum educational requirement.
- Must possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in hospitality.
- Knowledge of MS office, excel.
- Able to work in a team and produce quality output under tight deadlines.
- Strong verbal and oral communication skills.
- Self-motivated and strong analytical skills.
- Attention to detail, prioritization,and time management skills.
- Quick learner with a positive attitude.
- Able to interact effectively with all levels of management and vendors.
