Job Title: Research Officer
Location: Victoria Island, Lagos

Key Responsibilities
- Develop research work plans according to project needs.
- Identify potential investors and build strong relationships with them.
- Develop business proposals and assist in closing deal processes.
- Perform day-to-day supervision of research staffs for assigned projects.
- Act as primary contact for research team for any questions and concerns.
- Attend meetings to share new ideas and discuss about issues.
- Assist in maintenance of research database and company website.
- Coordinate with management in budget preparation and expense control activities.
- Review financial reports, perform invoice processing, and approve expenditures.
- Analyze and resolve research issues in a timely and accurate manner.
- Analyzing, monitoring, and researching the performance of stocks, trade markets and acquisitions.
- Studies and conducts research to keep abreast of current trends; makes security selection and stays informed about developments in security markets using fundamental and/or technical analysis.
Job Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in a discipline relevant to Social Sciences
- Minimum of 4-5 years post NYSC experience in Business Research
- Enthusiasm for research.
- Able to collate and analyse information.
- Able to work as part of a team.
- Able to manage workload and meet deadlines.
- Good organisational and presentation skills
- Proactive
