JaeBee Furniture began in response to a need. Upon graduation, Jaebee Furniture’s founder, Joy started working with her mom officially. Because they made furniture, their home always had beautiful furniture and was the object of admiration for many of her classmates. When they persuaded their parents to come and buy, the price was unaffordable for many.
She realized that the furniture they created in her mother’s establishment were out of the reach of everyday people. And she wanted to provide beautiful furniture that is both functional and beautiful to the general public at an affordable price. So she resigned and with a first degree in Mechanical Engineering (Production option) and a second degree in Business Administration, she started Jaebee Furniture.
We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Technical / Operation Officer
Location: Olorunsogo, Mushin – Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Responsibilities
- Responsible for planning activities, managing and allocating resources for various furniture works; supervising and monitoring wood finishing’s while ensuring observation of health safety and environmental practices at work site and carry out necessary documentation as per requirement.
- Read & interpret drawings, specifications and standards and explain to the workers; ensure standard practices for finishing works are observed.
- Plan work & organize required resource in coordination with team members and superior.
- Plan work targets, allocate time schedule to subordinates and organize completion of task within allocated time.
- Train the workers and explain safety rules and regulations for handling and storing required tools, equipment and materials.

Required Skills / Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree / HND in any related field or equivalent experience.
- Mature, pleasant and professional in manner and appearance
- Have strong work ethic
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team
- Able to delegate and supervise with results.
- Highly organized self-starter with strong time management skills
- Fast learner and problem solver
- Demonstrate a history of attention to detail and excellent follow-through
- Confident and assertive
- Flexible and resourceful
- Dependable & service oriented
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Have strong computer skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Experience as operation manager in furniture or interior design industry is key.
