Manchester United Legend, Edwin Van Der Sar has been tipped to replace Arsenal’s technical director, Edu Gaspar after a horrible start to Arsenal’s campaign this season.
Van Der Sar is considering leaving the Dutch side, Ajax after a solid four years in Ajax’s Hierarchy, Voetbal Nieuws reports.
Edu Gaspar has been heavily criticized in recent weeks with the Gunners struggling in the Premier League.
The Gunners are currently 15th in the table after 13 games, just five points above the relegation zone, with a number of recruits struggling and further issues within the club.
Van der Sar’s colleague Marc Overmars is also being tipped to leave the Amsterdam side, EKO HOT BLOG gathered.
Currently Ajax’s technical director, the ex-Arsenal winger could be on his way back to Barcelona in a boardroom role next year.

However, Manchester United may also be tempted to try and lure Overmars to Old Trafford as they look to appoint their first technical director.
Van der Sar was previously linked with the post but snubbed the opportunity.
