Nollywood comic actor, Baba Suwe is dead
He died after a long battle with an illness

Ekohotblog reports that veteran Nollywood comic actor, Babatunde Omidina popularly known as Baba Suwe is dead.

The shocking news of his demise was announced on Monday by actress Modupe Johnson better known known as Fali Werepe on her Instagram page.

The prolific actor reportedly gave up the ghost on Monday after a long battle with an illness.

Born on August 22, 1958, he was married to fellow comic actress, Omoladun Omidina, who died in September 2009.

Confirming the news of his death, the President of Theatre Arts and Motion Picture Producers Association of Nigeria, Bolaji Amusan also known as Mr Latin said

“It has been confirmed that Baba Suwe is dead. I just got off the phone with his son who confirmed that the actor is dead. I don’t have much details about his death.”
