Eko Hot Blog reports that Victor Boniface, the Nigerian striker, entered the game as a substitute and netted Bayer Leverkusen’s final goal in their dominant 5-1 victory over Frankfurt, maintaining their impressive unbeaten streak of 48 games across all competitions.

The striker has contributed to 28 goals for Leverkusen this season as they pursue two additional titles.

Regarding the powerhouse that is Leverkusen, there’s no sign of them slowing down.

Even with boss Xabi Alonso in the stands, they exhibited another commanding performance.

They have now equaled Benfica’s 59-year European record for the longest unbeaten run in all competitions.
