EKO HOT BLOG reports that Napoli striker Victor Osimhen has emerged as a transfer target for La Liga giants Atletico Madrid, according to reports. The Nigerian international has been in outstanding form this season, scoring 19 goals in just 20 Serie A matches for Napoli.
Atletico Madrid are said to be keen on signing Osimhen this summer, with reports suggesting that the Spanish club could use the funds generated by the sale of Joao Felix to pursue the striker.
The Portuguese forward is reportedly set to leave Atletico Madrid this summer, and the club are said to be interested in using the funds from his sale to strengthen their attack.
Despite signing Memphis Depay from Barcelona in the January transfer window, Atletico Madrid have continued to struggle for goals this season, and they are said to be keen on bringing in Osimhen to help address this issue.
