Eko Hot Blog reports that the High Society Club of Nigeria (HSCN) has celebrated its Governor General, Baale Babatunde Oluwashina Ogunlade.
The celebration took place on Saturday in Shomolu area of Lagos State for the club’s 2023 Annual Governor General’s Day.
The event also featured the commissioning of HSCN’s guesthouse.
Baale Ogunlade expressed his excitement to celebrate another Governor General’s Day.
On his part, the club’s patron, HRM Oba Babatunde Ogunlaja, the Aladeshonyin of Odo-Noforija Kingdom, prayed for the continued success of the club’s governor general.
The monarch also prayed for members of the High Society Club, saying they will continue to progress in all their endeavours.
“It is what we want that will always come to reality,” Oba Ogunlaja prayed.
The monarch became the club’s patron in February 2021.
At the time, he said the High society Club was the first club he joined, describing it as one of the best clubs in Nigeria.
The High Society Club, established in 1962, is one of the oldest social clubs in the country.
