14th March 2021 is probably a memorable day in Nigeria as Nigerian music industry received more recognition all over the world.
Surprisingly, and probably unexpectedly, some Nigerian artistes hardwork was crowned after becoming one of the award winners at 63rd Grammy Awards.

Burna Boy got his second Grammy nomination on the 24th of November, 2020 for his ‘Twice AS Tall’ album.

Burna Boy’s ‘Africa Giant’ album previously lost best world music to Angelique Kidjo’s album Celia.

This year, Burna Boy as well as Wizkid won their first Grammy awards.

Tiwatope Savage, a talented Nigerian female singer popularly known as Tiwa Savage also bagged a Grammy award after Cold Play’s 8th album “Everyday life” which she had contributed to won the album of the year.

The music video for Brown Skin Girl by Beyonce in collaboration with Wizkid and her daughter Blue Ivy Carter won best music video.

Burna Boy’s album ‘Twice As Tall’ won best global music

As gathered by EKO HOT BLOG , After Burna Boy was announced the winner in the live stream Grammy’s, he showed up in a video with excitement and he also encourage other Africans with great intentions.
