Eyewitnesses have said that two men jumped off the military Beechcraft 350 aircraft carrying the Chief of Army Staff, Lt. Gen. Ibrahim Attahiru, before it crashed at the Kaduna International Airport.
An eyewitness living close to the Kaduna Airport stated that the two men jumped off the plane with parachutes.

Eyewitnesses have said that two men jumped off the military Beechcraft 350 aircraft carrying the Chief of Army Staff, Lt. Gen. Ibrahim Attahiru, before it crashed at the Kaduna International Airport on Friday evening.

EKO HOT BLOG had earlier reported that the crashed aircraft claimed the lives of eleven people on board including the newly-appointed Chief of Army Staff.

The late Chief of Army Staff was billed to commission a project in one of the military formations in Kaduna State when the incident occurred on Friday evening.

However, an eyewitness living close to the airport stated that two men jumped off the plane with parachutes and disappeared.

The eyewitness, who spoke in pidgin English while giving the account of the incident in a viral video, disclosed that the two men escaped from the crash with the help of parachutes.
