Eko Hot Blog reports that Senator Daisy Danjuma, the former lawmaker representing Edo South Senatorial District in the National Assembly, has unveiled a fully equipped hospital in Benin-City, Edo State.

Merry Ehanire Mother and Child Hospital, which the former senator facilitated, was built in the memory of her late mother.

Danjuma, who is married to the a former Minister of Defence, Lt. Gen. Theophilus Danjuma, said she set up the medical facility to not only celebrate her mother’s memory, but to also ensure easier healthcare access for Benin City residents.
