On March 31st, 2021, a non for profit group, Digital World Forum, honoured the recently crowned global mathematics champion, Faith Odunsi with a scholarship award to study Robotics and Artificial intelligence in furtherance of her incredible talent.
EKO HOT BLOG reported earlier that the recipient of the scholarship award, Miss Faith Odunsi is an SS3 student at the Ambassadors College, Ota, Ogun State.
Faith had been locked in a keenly contested fray against the brightest minds from Europe, America, Asia, Australia and other parts of the globe; but the 15-year old once again proved the irrepressibility of the Nigerian fighting spirit, defeating all contestants and flooring her nearest competitor by a distant mile.
As it has become par for the course in the Nigerian system for academic exploits such as Faith’s to be dismissed as non-events, neither the Ogun State Government nor the Federal Government had reached out with any measure of support to encourage Faith’s mind-boggling accomplishment.
Having seen her incredible achievement swept under the misguided euphoria of Grammy award wins by ace Nigerian entertainers, Faith, who desires to further her prodigious talent in a career in Computer Engineering has now seen that dream receive huge lift with the scholarship award by the Digital World Forum, a non for profit group dedicated to supporting young talents embrace the enduring possibilities in the digital world.
