Tinubu Reveals Why He Will Win

On Sunday, March 28, 2021, Lagos monarchs under the aegis of Ijebu Council of Traditional Rulers (Lagos State) joined Nigerians at home and abroad to celebrate the laudable accomplishments of the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress, Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu, on the occasion of his 69th birthday anniversary.

As gathered by EKO HOT BLOG, the monarchs were speaking during their monthly meeting at the palace of the Adeboruwa of Igbogbo, Oba Semiudeen Orimadegun Kasali, where they unanimously endorsed the much anticipated candidacy of the former Lagos State Governor.

Oba Shotobi, the Ayangburen of Ikorodu, who is the chairman of the council, said Tinubu had etched his name in gold over the course of his political career and has the full support of the council in his anticipated Presidential ambition.

In a statement issued on behalf of the monarchs, the chairman noted that the council is a keen observer of political events, and that with monumental crises bedevilling the country on every side, the time could not be more germane for Asiwaju to deploy his leadership acumen to the benefit of all Nigerians.

“The Ijebu Obas Forum in Lagos State is apolitical but it is a keen watcher of political events and takes interest to follow political developments as all economic and social opportunities, policies and programmes that affect the lives of people particularly the youth are products of the political office holders,” the council said in a statement issued by the chairman, Lagos State Ijebu Obas Forum, His Royal Majesty, Oba Kabiru Adewale Shotori, the Ayangburen of Ikorodu.
