A Nigerian police officer has been caught negotiating bribe with commuter.
The officer, in a two minutes long video, who was decked in his police uniform, was heard haggling the amount he wanted to collect from the motorist before he would release him.
The police officer outrightly declined the amount the road user gave him and insisted on collecting what he said was due to him — ₦500.
He threatened to seize the driver’s license of the man behind the wheel and, as if trying to reinforce his position on the amount he was going to collect, he slipped his hand in his pocket and brought out wads of crumpled notes, and said ‘ you see any change here’
The police officer who spoke in pigdin English, also made allusion to what he believed to be the thrift nature of Fulani people, urging the motorist not act like them and acede to his request so that he could let go him.
