[VIDEO] Panic As Four Families Test Positive For COVID-19 In Lagos
There was palpable apprehension in Ikotun area of Lagos state on Friday afternoon after members of four different families tested positive for COVID-19.
Ikotun is a densely populated sprawling suburb located in Alimosho local government area of the state.
The NCDC official and Lagos COVID-19 taskforce arrived at the location, Rasak Tijjani street, in the afternoon to evacuate the affected members to isolation centres.
It would be recalled that Lagos state government had expressed concerns over transmission of COVID-19 in communities.
To this end, the state commenced a community-based and house to house search for suspected COVID-19 cases of COVID-19 so as to check the spread of the disease among residents.
