VIDEO: Petrol Tanker Goes Up In Flames At Mile 2 In The Early Hours Of This Morning

• There was a fire outbreak at the Alaba Express axis of the Oshodi Apapa expressway near Mile 2 Estate at about 1:30am this Morning.

Residents posted videos on Twitter to call for help and express fears for their lives and properties as petrol laden trucks continued to burn.

According to reports, Some eyewitnesses said the fire service had not arrived despite the fact that the fire had been raging for a while.

The fire was eventually put out at about 2:30 but properties had reportedly been lost.
