The Lagos House, Marina was a beehive of activities on Wednesday night as players and officials of the Nigeria national team, the Super Eagles paid a courtesy call on the Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
The Centre of Excellence have been buzzing in the past days as Super Eagles players have been arriving from their various bases across the globe.
The Super Eagles players were led to Governor Sanwo-Olu by the President of the Nigeria Football Federation, Amaju Pinnick in company of other top officials, EKO HOT BLOG gathered.
Apart from Ahmed Musa, none of the present Super Eagles players have ever played a game in Lagos and they have expressed delight they would doing so in a few days’ time when they trade tackles with Lesotho at the Teslim Balogun Stadium.
Before the game against Lesotho, the Super Eagles will first battle it out with the Squirrels of Benin Republic.
The Super Eagles need just a point from the two games ahead of them to seal their place at the next AFCON tournament that would be hosted by Cameroon.
