VIDEO: Umuada Meeting Ends In Tears As Covid-19 Taskforce Whip Women For Defying Lockdown

Amidst the lockdown to curtail the spread of Coronavirus, a group of women were seen holding a small ceremony outside their compound in one of the Eastern states in Nigeria.

Unfortunately, they didn’t go halfway into the meeting before men of the Covid-19 taskforce came to whip them as they scampered for safety in different directions.

The ceremony which was  marriage related ceremony was against laid down instruction to avoid gathering in order to halt the spread of the virus.

In the video, a man could be heard urging them to hurry up and leave, but the force team arrived quite on time, flogging them to disperse.
