Ekohotblog reports that the Harare Magistrates Court on Monday granted free bail to the sixteen people detained by the Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) for attending a s3x party.
The property owner, however, was forced to pay $3 000 bail by Magistrate Barbara Mateko, who ruled over the case.
The police stormed a s3x party in Harare’s Kuwadzana neighborhood on Saturday night, October 16, after receiving a tip.
Police officials apprehended sixteen persons, six women and ten males, with several caught red-handed in the act.
According to H-Metro, one 35-year-old Reyn Mabva is the owner of the house where the s3x party took place.
The six ladies who were arrested are Thokozani Tshuma, 24, Shylet Simba, Lucia Nyakutsikwa, 36, Loveness Zindi, 34, Sithatisiwe Kufa, 21 and Moleen Mashingaidze.
The ten men were identified as Luis Zvanhasi, 24, Daniel Divala, 23, Alexio Chibanda, 41, Munashe Masawi, 25, Praisemore Makuni, 39, Samuel Makore, 37, Paul Nhodza, 35, Reyn Mabva, 35, Mark Tafirenyika, 32, and Edward Kanengoni, 29.
Moleen Mashingaidze, who allegedly placed the advertising on social media, is said to have organized the obscene party.
In the advertisement, males were urged to spend 200 bond notes for condoms and toiletries, as well as bring US$20, in order to have sex with all of the ladies in attendance.
“Bring only $20 to f**k all the ladies, Ecocash 200 RTGS to join the update group and ensure your commitment, 200 Rtgs will be used to buy co**oms and toiletries. Zondo and cold beer available at store price, Come and let’s have fun ana Daddy.” the poster that circulated mostly on WhatsApp groups, read.
Police spokesperson, Assistant Commissioner Paul Nyathi, who confirmed the arrest said the house owner Reyn Mabva will be charged for turning his house into a brothel while the party organizer, Moleen Mashingaidze will be charged for disorderly conduct.
During the raid police also recovered and confiscated a plastic bag full of condoms and US$85.
Nyathi warned people over engaging in sex parties and gathering people to expose them to COVID-19, disregarding set down measures and curfew time.
