Eko Hot Blog reports that the Oyo State Police Command has contacted and invited Skit Maker, Abdullahi Maruf Adisa, better known as Trinity in connection with a disturbing viral video.
The content features the skit maker accosting an underage girl and threatening to beat her if she didn’t answer his question.
He had asked the hesitant minor if she saw his manhood and cajoled her to say she did.
After much cajoling, the girl disturbingly said she saw his private part.
Not satisfied, the suspect asked the minor to describe what she saw. With tears in her eyes, she made a baffling description of his manhood.
It was not immediately clear whether Adisa exposed himself to the underage girl but the police are expected to question him soon.
In a terse statement on Twitter Thursday morning, the police in Oyo promised to provide updates “soon.”
“Popular content creator, Abdullahi Maruf Adisa AKA Trinity has been contacted and invited at the Oyo State Police Command in connection with the disturbing viral skit content making the rounds across the Social Media space concerning a Female Minor. Updates would be provided soon,” the police said.
Earlier, the Force Public Relations Officer, CSP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, called for Adisa’s detention and prosecution.
Adejobi, who had previously called for the skitmaker’s arrest, retweeted the “prank” video of the skit maker saying it is “rubbish and criminal.”
The baffled police spokesperson added that the Force will act as quickly as possible on the matter saying, “This is rubbish and criminal. This guy should be arrested and charged in court. We will act as soon as possible. I hate this scene. Child abuse!!!”
For years, many social media users have expressed worry about Trinity’s offensive and expensive pranks on the unsuspecting public.
However, the Ibadan-based skit maker’s latest attempt at a “prank” by involving a child has attracted the most heated criticisms as he faces a police probe.
