The results will be released 45 days after the completion of the final paper.
EKO HOT BLOG reports that in April 2024, Dangut mentioned that of the 1.8 million students who took the exam, 902,328 (49.73 percent) were male, and 912,016 (50.27 percent) were female. The candidates were examined in 76 subjects, consisting of 197 papers, with the examination supervised by 30,000 secondary school teachers.
Dangut also highlighted that, in line with WAEC’s recent practice, the results will be released 45 days after the last paper was conducted, and certificates will be printed and issued to schools within 90 days of the results’ release.
Additionally, candidates will have access to digital copies of their certificates through WAEC’s digital certificate platform.
As universities, polytechnics, and colleges of education have already begun the 2024 admission exercise following the education policy meeting, the release of the WASSCE results is expected to assist many candidates hoping to secure admission during this cycle.
It was gathered that some institutions have already commenced the admission process, with dates for Post-UTME screening/tests being announced.
