WAFU U-20 Championship: Ndidi Rewards Flying Eagles With N5 Million

Nigeria’s Flying Eagles received a financial boost of N5 million from Wilfred Ndidi following their 2-1 victory over Côte d’Ivoire at the WAFU B U-20 Championship.

Coached by Aliyu Zubairu, the Flying Eagles secured the win in their final group match held at the Stade Municipal in Lomé on Thursday.

Despite a 1-0 loss to Burkina Faso in their opening game, this crucial victory ensured the team’s advancement to the semi-finals of the tournament.

According to Sharif Abdallah, the media officer for the Flying Eagles, Ndidi awarded the team the monetary reward after their success against Côte d’Ivoire.
