In a statement he personally signed on Saturday, Rep. Raji said the new LASUSTECH DVC is worthy of her appointment due to her “competence and forthrightness in the academia.”
He further described Prof. Oladipupo as a “shining example” to women in Epe.
“On behalf of my family and the good people of Epe Federal Constituency, I congratulate my cerebral sister, ally and constituent, Professor Oladipupo Basirat on her recent appointment as Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Administration) of Lagos State University of Science and Technology (LASUSTECH) by the Lagos State Governor, Mr Babajide Sanwoolu,” the lawmaker said.
“This is a worthy appointment which further predicates your competence and forthrightness in the academia. You are a shining example not just to our wards in Epe but to the women folk which you have always strongly associated with. I am proud to be associated with you and promise to always give the required support at all times.
“May God make this the beginning of greater things to come and grant you all you need to continue to be a great inspiration for those coming behind.”
