‘Better Days Ahead’ — Wale Raji Promises Constituents At Oloja Of Epe Palace
Wale Raji promised his constituents that better days are ahead for them.
Eko Hot Blog reports that Hon. Wale Raji, the lawmaker representing Epe Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, has asked his constituents to expect better days as prosperity will come after current economic hardship.
He made the promise on Sunday when he paid a courtesy visit to Oloja of Epe, Oba Kamorudeen Animashaun, on the occasion of Eid-el-Kabir.
The lawmaker, who spoke with Eko Hot Blog in an exclusive interview, acknowledged the harsh economic reality and urged the Muslim faithful to persevere.
“Eid ul Adha symbolizes sacrifice, trust in God. Beyond the celebration, what is important for everyone is to understand the import of the celebration and imbibe it and live by it,” the Raji said.
“Particularly so, in this period, when things are tough. Nobody can protest that but it requires and by the special grace of God, after this era, there will be peace and prosperity in this country.
“My prayer is that we all live to witness the era of prosperity in Nigeria.”
He further thanked his constituents for their comprehensive support and rededicated himself to their service.
“I will rededicate myself towards serving my people better,” he said.
On his message to the Muslim faithful, the lawmaker urged them to imbibe the spirit of sacrifice and faith in God and allow these values to guide them.
Raji also sought continued cooperation from Epe residents to sustain the peace in the community.
“I want to appeal to everybody that the peace that is prevailing in Epe Federal Consituency and Lagos State, we should sustain it,” he stated.
“It is only in an atmosphere of peace and unity that there can be progress”
“I want to assure the people of Epe that they’ve seen nothing. More better days lie ahead.”
