Member Representing Epe Federal Constituency at the Federal House of Representatives, Hon Wale Raji on Monday, 10th May, 2021, once again demonstrated his commitment to improving education across his Constituency as he performed the groundbreaking construction of Epe Grammar School Dormitory.
Eko Hot Blog recalls that Hon Tasir Wale Raji, in the wake of an inferno which destroyed a significant fraction of the school hostel in 2020, had promised to rebuild the hostel.
As gathered, after the attention of the affected dormitory was brought to the notice of the Lawmaker by the School Administrator, Mrs Oduwole, not only did the quintessential Lawmaker pay a visit to the scene of the incident, he also gifted relief items to the students.
Eko Hot Blog reports that a delegation of School Administrators requested the lawmaker’s approval for the use of the schools for the 2nd term examination owing to emergent needs; and, not even the commissioning
of the school buildings, which the Lawmaker described as ceremonial, could hinder him from approving the temporary use as requested.
Hon Wale Raji, popularly called ” Omo Iya Ise “, used the medium to praise the tremendous work done by the supervisors of the school buildings which was made up of the duo of Army and Agbowa Senior School Principals, while also admonishing those of Epe Grammar School to ensure quality.
“I want to particularly single out two Principals, one in Army Children Senior High School and the other one in Agbowa. Stage by stage, every day, they would forward the progress report to me. Feel free to pass your comments to me, if you notice that something is not being done right, don’t compromise. I don’t compromise on standards. We must get value for the money being paid,” he stated.
