Wale Raji Receives Certificate Of Return, Pledges Outdo Epe Locals’ Expectations

  • Wale Raji is currently serving a second term in the House of Representatives.

  • He was elected for a third term in the February 25 national assembly election.

  • The lawmaker was among more than 300 reps-elect who received their certificates of return on Wednesday.

Eko Hot Blog reports that Wale Raji, the lawmaker representing Epe Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, has received his certificate of return.

Last week, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) declared him the winner of the House of Representatives election in his constituency, earning him a historic third term.

Raji, the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), polled a total of 19,337 votes to easily defeat his rivals.

Speaking after INEC presented him with his certificate of return on Wednesday, the federal lawmaker said his constituents reelected him with huge expectations and he’s ready to surpass them.

“Today, 8th March 2023, I received the certificate of return from INEC as an affirmation of the people of Epe Federal Constituency’s mandate bestowed upon me to represent them at the Federal House of Representatives for a record 3rd during the recently concluded February 25th Presidential and National Assembly elections,” he said.
