Wale Raji Reels Out Achievements, Ongoing Projects In Epe Federal Constituency (FULL LIST)

EKO HOT BLOG reports that Hon. Wale Raji, the Member of House of Representatives for Epe Federal Constituency, has highlighted a big catalog of projects he has facilitated since he was elected into office.

He revealed the list on Thursday during the official commissioning of key projects he facilitated. The projects include the 20-bed Iraye Primary Healthcare Centre, Shiwola Road in Odosiwola, and construction of 86 stalls in Mojoda Market in Mojoda, Eredo Local Council Development Area (LCDA).

The event, graced by the Deputy Governor of Lagos, Dr. Kadri Obafemi Hamzat, and other notable dignitaries, marked the completion of developmental initiatives facilitated by Raji.

Speaking at the project commissioning ceremony, the lawmaker thanked his constituents for their trust and support in the 2023 general election.

He further listed his series of accomplishments and ongoing projects aimed at fostering the growth and well-being of the people in Epe Federal Constituency.

Below is a sectoral breakdown of the projects:

EDUCATION

  • An 81-Computer-Capacity ICT Centre at Ogunmodede College in Epe
  • A fully furnished 100-bed capacity hostel in Epe Grammar School, Epe
  • A fully furnished block of 6 classrooms at Odomola Secondary School, Odomola, Eredo LCDA
  • A block of 6 classrooms with furniture at LG Primary School, Noforija Eredo LCDA.
  • A Science Laboratory at Igbooye Community High School, Igbooye, Eredo LCDA
  • A block of 6 classrooms with furniture at Army High School Epe.
  • A block of 6 classrooms with furniture at Odo-Obara High School Epe.
  • A block of 6 classrooms with furniture at Temu Community Junior High School, Temu, Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA
  • A block of 6 classrooms with furniture at Agbowa Community Grammar School, Agbowa, Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA.
  • A block of 3 classrooms, with furniture, at Odo-Ayandelu High School, Odo-Ayandelu, Ikosi-Ejinrin
  • A Teachers Staff Quarters at Orugbo, Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA
  • A block of 3 classrooms, with furniture at LG Primary School Oriba, Epe.
  • A block of 2 classrooms, with furniture with toilets and hand pump borehole at LG Primary School, Aboriji, Epe.
  • Construction of a block of 3 classrooms at UPE Primary School, Imokun

COMMERCE AND ECONOMIC EMPOWERMENT

  • Registration and Empowerment of 32 Asiwaju Progressive Women Co-Operative Thrift & Credit Societies Epe, to the tune of 64 million naira for 1,280 women across Epe Federal Constituency
  • Initiation and implementation of the Women Economic Empowerment Scheme under which 1,100 Traders collected N25,000 each, totaling 27.5 million naira in November 2020.
  • Disbursement of 20 million interest free loan to traders within Epe Federal Constituency in collaboration with Lagos State Employment Trust Fund in 2016.
  • Wale Raji Continuous Empowerment Scheme under which many youths and constituents are empowered with skills, tools etc needed to make a living.
  • Conceptualization and initiation of the Elders Welfare Scheme(tagged ‘ItojuAwon Agba’) under which around 150 senior citizens above the age of 70 years gets a monthly stipend of N10,000 each totaling 1.5 million naira monthly to provide financial support to the elderly in our constituency.
  • Construction and presentation of 120 open stalls in Itoikin Market to traders at no cost.
  • Construction of first phase of Ayetoro modern market with 200 stalls.

INFRASTRUCTURE

  • Construction of Phase I of the 4km Ise – Igbogun Road
  • Construction of Adekunle Tobun Road in Iraye, Eredo LCDA
  • Construction of Vocational Training Centre in Ilara, Eredo LCDA
  • Installation of over 500 Solar Street Lights in various locations in Epe Federal Constituency
  • Construction of Vocational Centre at Agbowa, Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA.
  • Provision of solar powered and motorized boreholes in various locations in Epe Federal Constituency
  • Construction of Dauda Buhari Street which links Oloja Estate to Ayotunde Seriki and the express
  • Lasu Link Roads which connects Lasu Epe Campus to the newly constructed Itamarun – Iraye road through Prince KunleYussuf street and Aina Abidakun Street.
  • Construction of a Box Culvert to address the problem of perennial flooding at Oguntedo in Ward C1.

Supply and Installation of four (4) 500KVA Transformers in:

i. Itoikin, Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA

ii. Wadallah Street, Epe

iii. Lege community, Epe and

iv. Iraye, Eredo LCDA

Supply of Medial Equipment to the:

  • Epe General Hospital
  • Primary Healthcare Centre, Ise
  • Primary Healthcare Centre, Poka
  • Supply of School Furniture to Ise High School
