The member representing Epe Federal Constituency, Hon Wale Raji, has pledged to continue blazing the trail of his quality representation, and he gears up to represent the good people of Epe at Nigeria’s Federal House of Representatives.
Raji made the pledge on Tuesday following the swearing-in of the 10th National Assembly by the speaker of the house, Hon Tajudeen Abass.
The lawmaker, who made history by becoming the first parliamentarian from Epe Division to win a third term bid at the red chamber, emphasised that no stone will be left unturned in the bid to accelerate developmental strides in the Division.
In an Interview with Eko Hot Blog, Raji expressed his heartfelt appreciation to the good people of Epe for keeping faith in him and vowed not to waste the mandate given to him to make a difference in the lives of his constituents.
Raji said, “It’s a privilege to take up once again the mandate to represent the good people of Epe. We began this journey in 2015 and have come a long way. But the work is not done. The goal is to build on what we have done to make sure that we bequeath a legacy that our children and their children after them will be delighted to inherit.”
According to the charismatic lawmaker, efforts will be accelerated to complete ongoing projects while new ones will be conceived to ensure rapid socio-economic development of the Division.
He called on the people of Epe to rally behind his mandate to ensure that the dividends of democracy are brought home to the people.
Meanwhile, the publisher of Eko Hot Blog, Otunba TJ Abass, in a statement on Tuesday, expressed his felicitations to the lawmaker on the occasion of his inauguration into the 10 National Assembly.
The Aremo of Epe land, in the statement, described Raji as a nucleus who has worked his fingers to the bone for the gratification of the Epe people.
He expressed optimism that the lawmaker’s third term would occasion a new chapter of unprecedented growth for the Epe Division.
He said, “Congratulations to Hon Wale Raji on your inauguration today as a Member of the 10th National Assembly, Federal Republic of Nigeria. May God crown all your efforts with a befitting reward.”
