The 3.2 kilometres road construction which was initiated by the Federal Ministry of Works was meant to ease vehicular movements and stimulate local economic growth.
Hon. Raji, who influenced the initiation of the road construction by the Federal Ministry of Works expressed delight in the continuity of the legacy he kick-started, reiterating his commitment towards more landmark projects,
he said, “I am delighted to continue my legacy of impactful projects, having influenced the tarring of the road network during my tenure as Permanent Secretary of the Lagos State Ministry of Agric and Cooperatives. This won’t be the end, as there would be more landmark projects, I’ll be doing as your representative”
He showcased dedication by extending the Ise-Igbogun road, despite the initial budgetary constraints two years ago, expressing gratitude to the community for their support and disclosing plans to collaborate with the Ogun State lawmaker for further extension to the Lagos-Ogun State boundary.
He further revealed initiatives he intend to carry out to address community need, urging the council chairman to ensure toll collectors adhere to guidelines, and emphasising on free passage of construction materials for communal benefit, stating,
“Community development is my priority. To satisfy communal needs of the good people of Epe division is why I’m elected into office and I intend to do more than before. The Akodo-Ise Primary School which has been affected by ocean surge will be relocated and I am willing to personally fund a modern toilet in the school.”
“I’ll urge the council chairman to make sure guidelines are followed by the toll collectors. Construction materials must be allowed to pass through without delay. Materials meant for the construction and development of the community should be allowed free passage because it’s is meant to benefit the larger society.”
Raji emphasized, “I call for cooperation and support from contractors and artisans, while warning against rascality and criminal behavior. Our commitment to enhancing community life is evident in developmental projects such as school construction at Aboriji and the completion of the Primary Health Care center at Ori-Oye.”
The Chairman of Lekki LCDA, Hon. Razak Bamidele Kasali, commended Raji’s generosity, foreseeing that the Folu-Ise road construction would alleviate transportation challenges and spur local economic growth.

Engineer Olufemi Dare, representing the Federal Controller of Works, Lagos, Engr Mrs. Olukorede Keisha, affirmed the project’s credibility. He assured the supervision of the project, stating the contractor’s commitment to a thorough job, which covers a total length of 3.323 km and a width of 6 meters.
