The Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore has come out to encourage the security agencies on what they are doing in the southeast and to reveal what will happen based on how Fulani Herdsmen are being killed in their numbers recently in the southeast.

In a statement through the Association Secretary, Saleh Alhassan, he said that the killing of IPOB commander, Ikonso and the arrest of others is a welcome development but urged the security agencies to put in more effort to get rid of the people who are killing the Fulani herders in the region.

The spokesman while giving an account accused Nnamdi Kanu’s IPOB of being the brain behind this attack which has claimed the lives of 50 Fulani herdsmen in various places in the southeast.

While revealing what would be done, Saleh said that the Group would take legal and Cultural steps to avenge the death of their slain members thus saying Nnamdi Kanu’s led IPOB “would pay dearly” for the life of their people lost due to attacks on them in the southeast,  EKO HOT BLOG  gathered.

Apart from that, he said that the IPOB members who have been invading Police stations to burn them down and kill security operative in different locations should be seen as “Terrorist” hence be dealt with. He added that the ability of the security operative to subdue them would bring a stop to attacks on individuals and other institutions thus reducing the loss of lives and properties.

This statement is coming days after the Joint security team involving the DSS, Police, and others were able to neutralize some members of the group in Imo state.

In the southeast, IPOB and ESN have been going into bushes and forests to flush out Fulani herdsmen residing there. The group said that some of the herders have been involved in illicit activities such as invading and destruction of farms and molesting women.

Also, they accused the herders of killing farm owners who challenge them, kidnapping people in the region among other things and this made them want to forcefully evict them from the area, a development which the FG had warned them not to go ahead with.

According to reports from various media houses, one of IPOB leaders in the southeast known as Ikonso was gunned down during the face-off between the group and the security operative thus making the IPOB send a threat to Governor Uzodinma of Imo state.
