The Lagos state Commissioner for Education, Mrs. Folashade Adefisayo has visited some schools in Lagos on Wednesday to inspect whether they are prepared for the upcoming senior secondary school certificate examination(SSCE) or not.
The schools the Commissioner visited are Somolu senior high school, Ajayi Crowther Memorial Senior Grammar school, CMS Girls Senior Grammar School, Jagunmolu Girls Senior Grammar School, Igbobi Junior High School, Archbishop Adelaja Senior Grammar, to mention but few.

Mrs Adefisayo commended the efforts of schools and their readiness towards the upcoming examination and also appreciated the Tutor-General/Permanent district education secretary, Mrs Adenike Adekanye, for making sure that all needed facilities have been set in order within the schools she visited. Items like hands wash basins, soap, hand sanitizers and more have been provided for students in all schools she visited.
Mrs Adekanye also stressed that there was need to also visit some schools to ensure that facilities are in place to curtail the spread of COVID-19 before the commencement of the examination and also advised that no school whatsoever should be left alone.
