‘Water Is Back!’ LWC Repairs Damaged Water Pipes At Ogudu Underbridge

  • Last week, the LWC said a truck accident had damaged water pipes at Ogudu underbridge.

  • The damage consequently disrupted water supply to the Ogudu area and its environs.

  • Thereafter, the LWC promised to fix the problem quickly.

Eko Hot Blog reports that the Lagos Water Corporation (LWC) has announced the repair of the damaged 1200mm water pipes at Ogudu underbridge, Ogudu, Lagos, as water supply has been restored to the affected community and its environs.

Recall that an articulated vehicle damaged the pipes last Wednesday, causing interruption of water supply in some parts of Lagos State.

The Managing Director /CEO, Engr. Muminu Adekunle Badmus, disclosed the return of water supply on Tuesday, April 18, 2023, in Lagos.

“Our team of Engineers have temporarily repaired the damaged 1200mm water pipes towards urgent restoration of Water supply in the state,” he said.

“Presently, water has been restored to the affected community and its environs, and we assure you of continuous improve in water supply.

“We therefore regret any inconveniences caused during the period of water disruption, as LWC is working assiduously to supply every homes in Lagos.”
