Waterfront Ministry Sparks Imagination During Creativity Week

Lagos State Ministry of Waterfront Infrastructure Development has launched its maiden Creativity and Innovation Week.

The event, themed “Creativity and Innovation Awareness,” aims to promote novel solutions and ideas within the public service.

The ministry’s Permanent Secretary, Mrs. Lolade Aina, emphasized the significance of supporting the Creativity and Innovation Committee (CIC) to unlock the full potential of the ministry.

She encouraged department heads to cooperate with the CIC and motivate their subordinates to think creatively and develop innovative ideas for the betterment of the state.

The CIC Ambassador, Engr. Olubukunola Onafuwa, highlighted the crucial role of creative and innovative ideas in addressing modern challenges.

She emphasized the CIC’s commitment to advancing innovation potentials in officers to benefit the Ministry and the entire Public Service.

The week’s activities include a Train-the-Trainers workshop, a sensitization walk, and the launch of CIC stickers and idea boxes.

The event promises to be an exciting opportunity for the ministry to embrace creativity and innovation, transforming the state into a 21st-century economy.
