EKO HOT BLOG reports that Ukrainian President, Volodymyr Zelensky has said Ukraine is dealing with ‘absolute evil’ and vowed to “rebuild everything that was destroyed by the occupiers.”

“We are dealing with absolute evil. And we have no choice but to move on,” Zelensky said in his nightly address to the nation, delivered on the 110th day of its invasion by Russia.

He added that Ukrainian forces will “knock out the occupiers from all our areas.”

“We will rebuild everything that was destroyed by the occupiers, from Volnovakha to Chortkiv, because this is Ukraine,” Zelensky said.

“And it was our destiny to return and strengthen it.”

Russian troops have tried to encircle and seize Severodonetsk for some time. Losing the city would be a major blow for Ukraine.

There are fears that Severodonetsk and its civilians could soon be cut off and unable to escape.

The region’s governor Serhiy Haidai said that only one bridge into the city is left, and even that is in a critical condition.
